i was really dissapointed with how this faye and fujiko drawing turned out. the sketch looked better. also i forgot to draw shoes on fujiko somehow it was really funny actually. so i made her hold them in this super normal not awkward way.
here i was planning and practicing for the next page.
im still proud of this even with all its faults. big step towards my art goals at the time. i did no sketch for this just went in with pen (very evident the closer u look lmao).
i was in an art block at the time and thought giving myself a theme and trying to fill up a page would help. went with anime girls from shows i grew up with. some of these look super fucked but some are alright. i dont actually remember if it helped or not tho.
for context my new horizons island is called 4skin. Iggy is one of my favourite villagers.
i actually do a lot of pages of figure an gestural drawings. they just arent very interesting so not gonna include all of them.

This sketchbook was from my last year of highschool.... lmao. This is a weird sketchbook because i feel like theres a noticable jump in my skill level but its still not very good. a little ugly but its ok. as we all know 2020 was crazy and while im not going to go into detail there was a lot going on at the time for me and i used drawing as a distraction from that. lots of these were done in class and when i could have been doing homework lmao...i still do that now actually. (i might retake these pictures cos i was impatient and took them at nightime)
